This collection of irises was a way for me to incorporate more of the leaves rather than just the flowers. I like the spear shaped leaves and think they contrast nicely with the complexity of the iris. I was also able to include buds and the various stages of blooming. There are also some elements of torn handmade papers layering texture into the leaves. This iris print is hand embellished with gold paint. The metallics are reflective and add a glittery element to the image. Because of the individual nature of these treatments, there will be some variance in these prints and no two will be identical.
Giclee prints are made with archival materials including lightfast inks and heavy rag stock papers. Prints are shipped unframed in protective sleeves.
