I have struggled to grow lavender, I’m not sure what the trick is, but I keep trying. I love lavender. It’s so simple and beautifully complex at the same time. Making this illustration taught me a lot about all the fascinating intricacies of the flowers. Even though a lot of people are familiar with the lavender scent, I still think it’s underrated. It’s so soothing and ephemeral. I love having it in my home whenever possible
