Cat and Chrysanthemums
Cats are one of my favorite animals. I have a few of them in my house! Ask me about my liberal interpretation of what counts as three cats… Anyway, I’ve drawn cat skulls many times, it helps me with learning the anatomy. I wanted to do a series of these images pairing skulls and flowers and this was my first stop!
I knew the cat would need a big, showy, and dramatic flower so the chrysanthemum was the obvious choice! I’ve been intimidated by this flower in the past but I was determined to make it work. I’m really happy with how this came out and I hope you love it too!
Prints are signed and come unframed. They are high quality giclee prints made with archival fine art 100% cotton hot press paper and premium inks.
