I love drawing mermaids! This is one of my MerMay mermaids. I was originally going for a seal based mermaid, but that aspect became less featured. I’m really happy with how this whole ambiance feels. The dramatic lighting that happens with the underwater diffusion is striking! She’s a perfect illustration for anyone who loves fantasy, or sea creatures.
